Though i did always ask for kimbap without the ham, it's pretty easy even with basic korean skills.Smudgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00449129060365290678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8154452806180550551.post-42504078663043171152016-11-22T12:52:52.674-08:002016-11-22T12:52:52.674-08:00As a vegetarian, I'd confirm that there is lit...As a vegetarian, I'd confirm that there is little variety. I can only eat kimbab and bebimbap; everything else I have to prepare at home. Since stores package food in bulk, and my Korean is sub-par, this is difficult and expensive. And, in regards to kimbap, I have to poke out the seafood and ham, or pray that the restaurant chefs are willing to make purely veggie--and often they aren't. Yeah, I think Koreans do a lot right with their food, including in their attitudes towards food. I have now developed some life long habits and loves when it comes to Korean food that I will be continuing long after I leave this place.Smudgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00449129060365290678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8154452806180550551.post-73086171910898267602014-01-28T03:58:54.899-08:002014-01-28T03:58:54.899-08:00Good post, yet only scratching the surface. Having been diagnosed with a digestive disease and having high cholesterol I switched to a traditional korean diet, based on my research and it helped. Kimchi and pickled radish are packed with probiotics and there are non chilli versions of kimchi which I love. Eating a wide diverse range of foods in small amounts is the natural human diet. And Korean way of cooking and eating, small amounts of large variety of vegetables as an accompaniment to meats and not vice versa is the way to go. Also traditional Korean features more fish, pork and chicken over red meat which lowers cholesterol and provides more omega3. Yes pork is better for you than red meat. And Koreans mix beans and different types of rice into their white rice, making even that healthier. My health improved considerably by eating like a korean and exercising regularly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8154452806180550551.post-34796906490796289922013-12-04T19:03:29.184-08:002013-12-04T19:03:29.184-08:00Well if the girl loves the guy those things tend t...Well if the girl loves the guy those things tend to fade out naturally.
